Depart from Hanoi for a 2hrs drive to Ninh Binh. Located in the Red River Delta of Vietnam, Ninh Binh is loved by travelers for its natural beauty and rustic charm. Upon arrival, make a visit to the ancient capital Hoa Lu which was also the country’s first centralized feudal state from the end of the 10th century. Set in between limestone mountains made it a naturally fortified construction. Over one thousand years later, several edifices, pagodas, walls, and relics still exist in this abandoned fortification. Later, hop on a bicycle for a short biking trip to Tam Coc which is known as “Halong Bay on Land” followed by a visit Bich Dong pagoda. After having lunch at a local restaurant nearby, embark on the rowing boat for a 2 hours slow journey on the winding river and canals before returning to Hanoi central.
