Inle Lake is the second largest lake in Myanmar, but the most remarkable for its residents, the Intha. The “People of the Lake” live in wooden and bamboo houses built on stilts right on the water. Witness traditional weavers and silver craftsmiths plying their craft. Inle Lake opens up a different local experience when drifting on a longboat through the lake waters, it is utterly serene and has a languid enchanting magic.
