ITINERARY/SCHEDULE

Upon arrival at Bangkok Airport. Go through Immigration and Customs. No visa is needed for most Western passports traveling to Thailand. Proceed to Arrival Hall (inside terminal) where your driver is waiting for you, holding a sign with your name on it.  Then you will be transferred by private transportation to your hotel for check in.

Departure for the first visit of the day, which will be the impressive Grand Palace, where we will see the Coronation Hall, as well as Wat Phra Kaew or Temple of the Emerald Buddha and the replica of Angkor Wat.

We will continue to Wat Pho, which houses the famous Reclining Buddha. This
wonderful creation is considered the first school of Thai traditional medicine and massage as well as Thailand's first university.

The last stop will be Wat Arun, a temple of incomparable beauty known as "The Temple of Dawn". Upon completion of this visit, transfer back to the hotel.

Overnight in Bangkok.

Bangkok - Ayutthaya - 1hr

Pick up from your hotel in Bangkok. The day begins with a stop at a train local station to explore an incredible market that sits on the train tracks. When a train stops at the station, vendors quickly clear their stalls, only to set them up again moments later when the train has passed.

From there we will go to the floating market of Klong Damnersaduak, in Ratchaburi province considered the most important in the country. We will arrive at a jetty in the vicinity of the floating market in Damnersaduak and from there we will take a motor boat ride through the canal area until we reach the market itself where we will disembark and we will have free time to walk, explore their products and enjoy the lively atmosphere.
After finishing the visit, transfer to back Bangkok, free afternoon.

Overnight in Bangkok.

Today your day will be free to explore Bangkok, the City of Angels, on your own. In the afternoon transfer to the airport to board a short flight to Chiang Mai, the spiritual heart of Thailand.

Arrival in the hotel and overnight in Chiang Mai.

Shortly after breakfast we will kick off the day with a visit to the Chedi Luang Temple that houses an impressive stupa that was built in the 15th century and that reached 82 meters high before being partially demolished by an earthquake.

Then we'll go on to the Warorot Market, the authentic center of the city located, in the heart of Chinatown. After touring it enjoying its colors and smells, we will take you to the Tom Lanyai Market, the Flower Market, just behind Warorot, right next to the Ping River. Around noon our guide will recommend you somewhere to eat. In the afternoon, visit Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep Temple, the symbol of the city, situated 1053m high, on top of a hill of the same name. The complex currently belongs to a 162 km2 national park in which the last 13 km of road leave us at the foot of a 290-step staircase leading to the monastery.

After this visit transfer back to the hotel and overnight in Chiang Mai.

After breakfast, departure to the Elephant Sanctuary where we will have a unique and exciting time with these lovely animals. We will learn a lot about elephants, about the current status in the country and we will enjoy direct contact with them helping with their daily needs: feeding them, bathing with them in the river, and more. Lunch included in the camp. Transfer back to the hotel and rest of the day free.

Overnight in Chiang Mai.

Chiang Mai to Koh Samui - 1hr

Transfer to the airport to board a short flight to the island of Koh Samui. In Koh Samui we will pick you up and transfer you to your idyllic resort.

Koh Samui is one of Thailand's most relaxed islands. Known for its up-scale resorts and white sand beaches here you will enjoy a few days of relaxation surrounded by the tropical beauty of Koh Samui and its beaches.
