Upon arrival, pay a visit to the ancient capital of Hoa Lu, which was also the country’s first centralized feudal state from the end of the 10th century. Its location in between limestone mountains made it a naturally fortified construction. Over one thousand years later, several edifices, pagodas, walls, and relics still remain in this abandoned fortification. Arrive next in Tam Coc, which means 3 Caves in Vietnamese. There we will have bicycles ready to explore this beautiful valley of the Ngo Dong river. Its breathtaking scenery of water, green rice fields and karst mountains has earned it the name of Halong Bay on land. We will leave the bicycles and embark on a owing boat tour to explore the Galaxy Grotto. Disembark and return to the vehicle for the transfer back to Hanoi.
