ITINERARY/SCHEDULE

Once arriving at the Chiang Mai Airport, the representative will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel for check-in. In the late afternoon, visit the Doi Suthep Temple at 283m above sea level, it is a picturesque surrounding that overlooks the city of Chiang Mai. It is accessible by foot or by a rover. After that, go for a relaxing introducion dinner to the local Northern Thai cuisine (Khantoke), with a Lanna-Style performance. Head back to the hotel for an overnight in Chiang Mai.

Breakfast in the hotel. Then straight to the Phrathat Sri Chom Thong Temple, where it is home to many hill tribe villages, with exotic  fauna and flora. In the vicinity are Doi Inthanon, the highest peak in Thailand. Additionally the popular waterfall of Mae Klang. 

Going back down we will stop for lunch and see our last site of the day, the Sam Kham Pang Village. This village is well-known for producing Thai silk, cotton products, acrylic painted art and organic food(s). 

Head back to the hotel and overnight stay in Chiang Mai.

A quick breakfast at the hotel, Then we will proceed to Lam Pang to visit Ban Sao Nak, a 100-year old mansion with scads of Teak-Wood pillars.  Next, we will head to Tung Kiewn Market, a local market on the Chiang Mai to Lampang highway, where you are welcome to try out delicious local produce and its delicacies. Once we arrive at Lampang, take a look around the town in a horse-drawn carriage. 

Then transfer by private car or bus to Sukhothai. 

The ruins of the Royal Palace will be the first stop in the ancient city. The entire city is preserved as a UNESCO world heritage site and many of the sites are of historical importance. Throughout the tour of the city we will visit Wat Mahathat Sanctuary, Wat Si Chum and Ramhamheang National Museum. 

When we are done with all the sightseeing, proceed to the hotel and overstay in Phitsanulok.

Breakfast in the hotel and drive to visit Way Phra Si Ra Mahathat monastery, which is the home to the famous Phra Buddha Chinnarat. Next, visit the Shrine of King Naresuan on the opposite side of the town. 

The early afternoon is free time for exploring the ancient city.

Transfer to Chiang Rai in the late afternoon.

Dinner at a local restaurant and overnight stay in Chiang Rai.

Breakfast at the hotel, then head to the White Temple (Rong Khun). From there, transfer to the Golden Triangle, this is the intersection between the Mekong River and Kong River. Glance at the 3 sides of Thailand, Myanmar and Laos. After the cruise, disembark to tour Mae Sai, the northernmost town in Thailand. Shop for souvenirs and Myanmese gifts in the late afternoon. 

While in transit, we will have dinner at a local restaurant, on the way back to Chiang Mai.

After breakfast, drive to visit the Elephant Camp, experience a performance by the magnificent Elephants. Ride elephants and watch a harmless human vs. snake fighting show. 

Head to another part of the natural park to watch monkeys demonstrate an impressive range of talents with performances and neat tricks. 

In the afternoon, walk through the Orchid & Butterfly farm, displaying varieties of exotic fauna and flora. The farm is a perfect place to buy souvenirs to bring back home, for a few Thai Baht pick up a rare and tropical flower. 

Head back to Chiang Mai for leisure time and overnight at the hotel.

Breakfast in the hotel and free time at your own leisure. Transfer with a private car to Chiang Mai Airport for your next journey.
