About this role

Senior Travel Consultant is responsible for assigning accounts/ end-clients, acting as point of contact for the B2B/ end clients from making proposals, involving in the consulting phase, overlooking the confirmed bookings, and giving proper feedback to the B2B agents/ end-clients. Besides, the Senior Travel Consultant will be involved in all phases to ensure bookings from the assigned accounts/ agents are well-arranged and make the agent/ end-clients feel happy and want to send more bookings/products or even refer us to new accounts/clients.

Responsibilities

MAIN DUTIES: 70%

  • Handle specific requests from B2B partners and FIT clients: receiving requests, organizing tour programs, quotations and coordinating directly with Tour Operators.
  • Understand the characters of B2B partners that you are in charge and keep the bookings following guidelines set by B2B partners
  • Follow-up cut-off date, booking status with B2B partners and FIT.
  • Follow up on clients’ inquiries via email, phone.
  • Involved and responsible for sending/ checking/ following up confirmation and invoice of accounts being in charge.
  • Supervise the operation process to ensure the booking is executed correctly and runs smoothly
  • Make decisions while the tour gets troubled and clients are on tour or for additional expenses.
  • Involve in the booking execution in other destinations besides
  • Maintain customer care for B2B partners and FIT
  • Review and keep the existing products up-to-date.
  • Responsible for Customer Care and Acquisition of new clients.
  • Other tasks that are assigned from superior/ top mamagement.

BUDGET & REPORTS: 10%

  • Involves in Annual Budgeting Planning of the Sales team
  • Prepares Budgeted Sales Forecast
  • Arrange the action plan to achieve the
  • Prepare and maintain a database of clients, potential target groups/markets.

ADMINISTRATIVE: 20%

  • Be in charge of documentation and filing of bookings
  • Involved and responsible for sending/checking/following up invoices of accounts being in charge.
  • Responsible for Customer Care and Acquisition of new
  • Coordinate with Product and Contracting in terms of developing new products or price negotiation/ contract collecting.
  • Other tasks that are assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience.
  • Excellent in speaking and writing.
  • Flexible, mature, and showing “can- do”.
  • Proficiency in German is an advantage.
